Joe, this is one of the best books I have ever read. The use of historical background information to present the entire context is awesome. I particularly like your references to Lao Tsu and Tehard de Chardin. I read both of these writers in my mid-late twenties. I was particularly moved by the ideas of Lao Tsu in the Tao De Ching and still have a copy in my library. The entirety of your book was very professionally prepared and needless to say perhaps, profoundly relevant to today's circumstances. Hello, Joe. I applaud your efforts in laying out the topology of the Transhumanism culture. I am in the third section and am feeling a deep compassion for the pain that underlies your attempt to layer a coherent Christology onto the human experience.
I agree that transhumanism is a poor substitute for spirituality. To substantiate that, however, we need to understand the mechanisms of spiritual experience. Until that is established, attempts to interpret the apocalyptic literature are fragile. The "Physics and Spirituality" lecture series provides a parable that suggests how misguided the transhumanists are.
