I wish everyone would realize that high tech like automation before it is nothing more than a tool. Washing machines made cleaning clothes easier. Phones made communication easier. Cameras made lasting visual memories. Hi tech seems to want to take over thinking and that is the problem. In this country, the wholly lacking K-12 education system has almost annihilated rational thinking so children growing up from the last decade or so think they need to attach a smart phone to their face to survive. I am having some serious angst watching my grandchildren growing up addicted to video games. Their tablets are never far from reach even though they are allowed only a certain amount each day on them. I have yet to see them pick up a book. To me, less is more, simple is the way to go for most things. Always ask yourself "How will this improve my life or will it make it more complicated". If you're honest with yourself, you'll find you can do without most of the crap coming down the pike.
