The Duty of Care could be more specific, it is vague and could lead to litigation which Tech companies are positioned to win since they have many lawyers at their disposal.
The digital ids are something we have fought against. Is that in the bill to protect kids? If so, how about starting at the premise that kids should not be alone when using AI? Then working in language that stipulates contant monitoring by an adult (parent, teacher, etc.) shall be required when kids interact with AI tools. Also, there should be time limits or time outs built in for kids and maybe adults too. Somehow using the TOOL should be discouraged not encouraged for use.
